Summer Delights

A favorite subject of artist Dick LaBonte's paintings was the CH Clark house. The house still stands in Bay Head. The artist had fun with his characters in this scene, adding an ice cream wagon and Carl's Clams, being sold by Carl (a tribute to an old friend of the artist's) from a push wagon. Adding the old cars and beach goers completes the story.
