Six to Eight

It’s Saturday, the sun is getting low, the cocktail flag is hoisted and so are the glasses. If you can't remember the conversation next day, it's just as well. This house looks very similar to one in Bay Head, but while the artist used the landmark CH Clark house in many of his paintings, this is not that house. The CH Clark house still stands, at the head of Bridge Ave, in Bay Head. See "Sunday Afternoon Bathers" by the artist.
